The New Energy Fund (NEF) is the first Portuguese Fund with direct investment in renewable energies (namely wind, biogas, biomass, biofuels, hydro, solar, hydrogen, ocean/tides and geothermal), which started operating on November 12, 2007, supervised by CMVM (Portuguese Stock Market Regulator);
The NEF adopts a new approach to investment in renewable energy sectors, promoting direct equity investments in companies or indirect investments through other investment vehicles.
