  5. Meeting of the Parties (MOP)

It may or may not have legal backing of sanction, depending upon how it is constructed. MoUs between host and investor country are often used as a basis for CDM/JI projects.

  8. Methodologies Panel (Meth Panel)

    The Methodologies Panel was established to develop recommendations to the Executive Board on guidelines for methodologies for baselines and monitoring plans and prepare recommendations on submitted proposals for new baseline and monitoring methodologies.

  10. Minor Source Stream

    Source streams selected by the operator in sum emitting 5 ktonnes of fossil CO2 or less per year or contributing less than 10% (up to a total maximum contribution of 100 ktonnes of fossil CO2 per year) of the total installation annual fossil CO2 emissions before subtraction of transferred CO2, whichever is the highest in terms of absolute emissions.

  11. Monitoring

    Monitoring refers to the collection and archiving of all relevant data necessary for determining the baseline, measuring anthropogenic emissions by sources of greenhouse gases (GHG) within the project boundary of a project activity and leakage, as applicable.
